Welcome to Orlando Gay Days, Looking Ahead and Back
What started out as a day for GLBT friends and supporters to spend a fun day at the Magic Kingdom has grown into a must attend event experience. During the first year Gay Day attendees were asked to wear red so that others would see them and know they were there for Gay Day.
Little did they know back then, that a sprinkling of red around the Magic Kingdom that day would later turn into a sea of red in years to follow. Seeing Red on Saturday has really never meant so much as men, women and families join together united. We are all so different and we are all the same, we are just people living our lives and this is a time and place to celebrate togetherness and life.
Last year's Gay Days was full of change as classic locations like Mannequins at PI was closed and the One Mighty Weekend events imploded. New events like Let's Go Play came in to fill the Beach Ball void with a lot of success at Typhoon Lagoon. Overall Gay Days was a success and the parks were full of red. We hope 2010 will be even better as we celebrate Heroes!

Over the years Gay Day at Disney has grown to become Gay Days and includes events throughout Orlando and attracts almost 150,000 people. The idea of just a social gathering at Walt Disney World has merged with pool events, concerts, comedians, benefits and late night parties. In a sense, Gay Days real does provide something for everyone.
Gay Days 2010 will be a unique challenge as traditions continue to evolve. The Host Hotel for GayDays.com is off Disney property, but for the first time all the GayDays and Girls at GayDays are at one hotel and that is a plus. The Girls in Wonderland hotel remains the Marriot hotels and the new Mark Baker Event - Wonderland's host hotel for the guys is the Holiday Inn at WDW.
Our goal with this site is to let you know about all your options and not just one group, hopefully this will make your entire Gay Days experience even more enjoyable.
Gay Days 2010 Kickoff Party - Heroes
The Official Kickoff Party for Gay Days 2010 gets things underway and funds raised during this event benefit Be Real which supports GLBT youth and families. The location has yet to be announce and ticket will be on sale soon. Travel time from Disney area would be ??-?? minutes. Dress is business casual.
